State Secretary Tamás Menczer reports on the restart of the economy and employment in the latest video of the Government of Hungary page on Saturday.

There is huge competition for investments worldwide, but Hungary is an attractive destination: thanks to low taxes, political stability and hardworking, talented Hungarian workers, the State Secretary pointed out.

In contrast to the fallen left-wing governments, the Orbán government created jobs by stimulating investments, and we protected jobs even during the coronavirus, or where they failed to protect, we created new ones, emphasized Tamás Menczer, the State Secretary responsible for information and the international presentation of Hungary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Menczer also announced that the restart of the economy was successful, and it is thanks to this that 4.7 million people are working in Hungary today, which is a historical record, and 1 million more people are working than there were in 2010.

He also said that Hungary is also an attractive destination for foreign investors, thanks to low taxes, political stability and hardworking, talented Hungarian workers. Already this year, positive decisions were made on 58 new investments, which will create more than 9,000 new jobs .

He also announced the recent data that 156 business service centers operate in the country, employing 70,000 people and this is a 50 percent increase in just five years.

"Hungary is moving forward, not backward," concluded the state secretary.
