The number of vaccinated people is 6,257,771, of whom 5,973,555 received the second vaccination, and 3,161,930 received the third vaccination. The number of confirmed new infections is 3,005, thus increasing the number of identified infections to a total of 1,249,694 since the beginning of the epidemic. 115 people died, most of them old, chronic patients, so the number of those who died rose to 39,009.
3,854 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 357 are on ventilators.
The omicron virus variant is also spreading in Hungary, 68 cases have been confirmed in our country so far.
At priority hospital vaccination points, it is also possible during the holidays to receive either a first or a booster vaccination by making an appointment in advance.
