As long as the austerity policy is in the opposition, Péter Márki-Zay's cane run is not the country's problem, but the problem of the left, said Csaba Dömötör in an interview with Magyar Nemzet. According to the parliamentary state secretary of the Prime Minister's Cabinet Office, even the virus could not put an end to the fact that Hungary is now experiencing a period of sustained growth. The deputy minister also drew attention to the fact that a vote for the left in next spring's parliamentary elections is a vote for a failed past.

According to Dömötör: the circumstances are changing, we are now fighting an epidemic for the second year, but the essence remains the same: the goal is a stronger Hungary. It would be nice to finally leave the period of the virus behind us, it badly affected our lives, the country and the whole world. We must continue to protect human lives, so that in the meantime the country-building work continues. But before we turn to the next year, we would like to thank all Hungarians. Thanks for sticking to the rules all the way, and special thanks to those who helped fight the epidemic with their work. In the case of healthcare workers, the word thank you may not be able to adequately express what we feel.

Our community, with all its possible faults, always has the interests of the Hungarians in mind in decisive moments and in difficult times. This is the main difference from the left. They could also have proved themselves in a difficult period. Instead, they derived their policies from the expectations of others and their narrow interests. It turned into a near-bankruptcy situation, an economy on its knees and tons of austerity. Looking at them, nothing has changed. That is why every vote for them is a vote for a failed past. We prefer the future.

According to the state secretary, the opposition did not help the government's work in any way. However, there are - and would be - national points of agreement - action against migration, family support, thirteenth monthly pension, utility reduction, child protection and the rest - which were confirmed by a series of national consultations. These were attacked by the left and its current Prime Minister candidate, Péter Márki-Zay. Where does this lead?

For austerity, for the restriction policy. There to heat less, use less electricity, share your car with others or go on foot, and if you don't like it all, you can leave here. This is where the politics of the big left heart now stand. Actually, there is no political heart here anymore, only a large amount of insensitivity remains.

Of course, the government does its job regardless: that's why this year's increase will be over six percent, that's why there will be an average family tax refund of several hundred thousand, and that's why the minimum wage will increase to two hundred thousand. We started with seventy thousand forints. We are not yet where we want to be, but this is still almost a threefold increase. The sectoral wage increase programs will also continue: from January, nurses, cultural workers, nursery school workers, teachers, and law enforcement workers will be able to take home more money, and they will also receive a six-month gun allowance. And then we haven't even talked about the 13th month pension and the tax exemption for those under 25. When we say that Hungary is moving forward, we also mean these things. Every generation gets a helping hand, and from January the helping hand will be even stronger.

Regarding next year, he said: I would like to wish everyone a virus-free new year of constructive work and growth. months that

during which we realize again and again that we live in a country that, despite all difficulties, can look to the future with confidence.

There is more work ahead of us than behind us. Not even a noisy and intense campaign can make us forget that we have never had as much opportunity to do for our country as in the current period. If the Hungarians want it this way in the spring, we will continue to take advantage of this opportunity.
