According to the former finance minister, Prime Minister candidate Péter Márki-Zay "divides, demoralizes, discourages, disillusiones and weakens" the united opposition's ability to act.

László Békesi used war metaphors to make it clear that it is time for the opposition to get rid of Péter Márki-Zay, Mandiner wrote with reference to ATV.hu. Békesi writes the following on his social media page:

"The members of the military council appointing the commanding general - even though they see their positions deteriorating - are at a loss and undecided for the time being. What is missing from them is the determination to remove the necessary consequence, remove the commander who is useless in all aspects, demobilize him and place him in the reserve, and instead entrust him with the management of the combined forces to a capable, credible commander who has a chance to lead his troops to victory in the decisive battle."

While, according to Békesi, the adversary to be defeated (the Fidesz organization) stabilizes its position and strengthens its positions on all fronts, digging deep behind its positions, it awaits the final battle that promises an increasingly certain victory.

2022Plusz: The situation, dear László Békesi, is that the opposition could not even win an election called for itself! So they were left with Márki-Zay, like an ear on a donkey.
