This year did not pass without Christian-humiliating actions in Hungary, but the situation is no better in Western Europe either. The Hungarian Nation has listed the major domestic and foreign anti-Christian manifestations of 2021.

In the last few years, there has been an increase in anti-Christian atrocities throughout Europe, including in our country, which are manifested in many things, from the desecration of religious symbols to blasphemous (blasphemous) content. According to Magyar Nemzet, the biggest scandal in 2021 was caused by the rampage of former deputy mayor Pusztaszabolcs, who voiced his atheistic views on the Hungarian Atheist Memebase Facebook page when he commented on a graphic defaming the Virgin Mary. After the incident, the mayor of the settlement distanced himself from his deputy mayor in a statement, who then resigned from his position as city manager.

On Maundy Thursday, just a few days before the biggest holiday of Christianity, the IX. on Ferenc tér in the district - next to the Black Lives Matter statue that has been covered in dust - a poster depicting Jesus appeared, according to which the savior of Christians is not red, but rainbow-colored blood flows out of his side.

This year, Magyar Narancs also stood out for itself. With Christmas approaching, the left-liberal newspaper found it worthwhile to present the work of a "visual artist" who, according to the content of the interview, "consecrated himself as a saint." For an interview with the lady who works under the names Holy Olga and Piros Kocsi

of course, they also included a picture where the artist can be seen as the Virgin Mary, with the difference that instead of baby Jesus, she is holding a rabbit.

The blasphemous depiction of the Virgin Mary has been a recurring motif in Western Europe lately.

The production of Riccardo Simonetti, who poses as the Virgin Mary with a black man playing Joseph on the cover of an LGBTQ magazine, is memorable.

"If we consider that Jesus was not white, then we can even believe that the Virgin Mary had a beard, right?" - he justified his step, which offended many. Tempers were further heightened by the action of Brussels.

The European Commission has published a draft document according to which, among other things, the use of the word Christmas should be avoided, so instead of the Christmas period, winter break is the politically correct term.

In addition, traditional European Christian names such as Mária and János should be avoided in EU Commissioner Helena Dalli's draft, instead the EU People's Commissioner responsible for equality proposed the use of the names Malika and Julio.

Even Pope Francis protested against the proposal, and in the end the committee backed down.
