On the Facebook page of Fidesz Budapest, he commented on Gergely Karácsony's report on the sale of the City Hall and the meeting of the committee investigating the intention to sell and possible cases.

The mayor, who is busy with his day job, but rich in Facebook posts (or those who write his posts for him), wrote, among other things:

" I came to the City Hall this morning and guess what, it's still there.
We are supposed to have sold it. Yesterday it was also revealed - at the committee investigating the alleged sale of the City Hall, because we have such a system - that no "commission system" works at the City Hall, and even the Fidesz faction leader himself stated: no one even talked about the existence of such a system. "

The capital organization of Fidesz commented on the post as follows:

Gergely Karácsony's reading comprehension is also hyperpassive.

First: no one ever claimed that the Town Hall had already been sold. However, at yesterday's investigation committee meeting - contrary to Karácsony's claims - it was revealed that they did not even make a decision that they did not intend to sell.

Second: faction leader Zsolt Láng did not say that no one talked about a commission system operating at City Hall. At yesterday's meeting, it was precisely the fact that the investigation committee is needed in order to clearly find out whether such a system works or not, as this is claimed by people familiar with City Hall's real estate affairs in several audio recordings.

As we can see, Gergely Karácsony was not there at yesterday's meeting either, but he unabashedly slips and distorts reality again. We are waiting for the next investigative committee meeting, where we hope that nothing "irrelevant" will come up for him, and we can finally listen to him face to face instead of messages posted on Facebook!"
