Hungarian families testified in favor of the Christian family model at the call of the Association of Christian Intellectuals (KÉSZ). Their photo mosaic, prepared for the feast of the Holy Family, presents the joy of love experienced in the family in many ways.
In 2016, the apostolic exhortation entitled "Amoris laetitia" was published on the beauty and joy of conjugal and family love. Five years later, on this year's Saint Joseph's Day, Pope Francis opened the year dedicated to families with the same name. The Holy Father's intention is to place the family at the center of our hearts and thoughts: to bear witness to the family based on the marriage of a man and a woman.
KÉSZ also joined the New Year, in the spirit of this, it announced a call for photo mosaics under the title Together with the family as a campaign launch action. The mosaic created from the received colorful, cheerful pictures of life (which is also available enlarged on the keesz.hu page) is an important stand for the traditional family model rooted in the Christian image of man.
There is a lot of noise around the concept of family these days. In this vociferous debate, a calm but firm position is needed. We do not seek popularity and do not serve political groups or ideologies, but express our own convictions.
The need to strengthen the basic concepts shows the will of the majority, which does not harm any minority. You have to see that if we accept that anything can be a family, then nothing really is. On the other hand, the classic family model is based on our traditional, two-thousand-year-old religious beliefs. We want nothing more than to follow the path of Jesus Christ, but we cannot be satisfied with anything less:
THE FOUNDATION OF THE FAMILY IS THE LOVING COMMUNITY OF A MAN AND A WOMAN IN MARRIAGE, ITS VOCATIONALITY IS THE CONTINUATION OF LIFE AND THE RAISING OF CHILDREN IN THE LOVING PRESENCE OF GOD.
