Before 2010, Gábor Bruck, a prominent campaign consultant in left-liberal circles - working for Gábor Demszky and Péter Medgyessy, and most recently for Klára Dobrev - was a guest of KlubRádió's Wednesday morning program, in which they discussed the April elections and the opposition's chances and campaign. Among other things, the following was said by the consultant, in the presence of Mandiner:
"The people of Transylvania are coming, okay, luckily they can only vote for a list. No matter how I look at it, it means two mandates, which is a lot. A lot of." (23:25)
"Orbán is weak, there is no innovation in him.
The EU is hitting them, we don't know yet whether America will join or not... America is not Trump. Let's say the FBI or the CIA in America in this case, so we don't know.
In neighboring countries, they did it in a fairly good rhythm. My suspicion is, but I don't know anything about this, that they are watching, if the opposition is strong enough, then they will step in. Information is made public that the person in power is not happy about. I think they know a lot about this, the question is whether they use it or not." (24:18)

Bruck has already made several scandalous statements in recent years, for example in April 2020 he wrote in Népszava that
the government party voters are primitive crocodile brains, and in August that
out of ten million Hungarians, seven million are uneducated, poor, old or sick.
In an interview with Magyar Narancs in June of this year, he talked about how the prime minister is getting tired and making more and more mistakes, and that the prime minister could be defeated with Dobrev, Karácson and Jakab among the candidates running in the primary elections.
