The prime ministerial candidate of the left received another serious criticism from the opposition side. According to political scientist Tibor Attila Nagy, Péter Márki-Zay made himself totally frivolous with his TikTok video evoking the depths of Falus Ferenc.

He continued that the politician from Vásárhely obviously thought that this production would look good on social media, but "the recording should have been stopped after the fake singing. He added that Hungarian society traditionally considers the role of the state to be important and depends on the state. This also means that the country longs for a strong, decisive leader who has authority, but the left-wing prime minister's candidate does not paint such a picture of himself at all. In particular, he constantly engages in scandalous statements, attacks popular government measures, insults various social groups, and moreover, if someone within the opposition dares to criticize him, he immediately betrays him backhandedly.

"It can be said that Viktor Orbán's best campaign manager is Péter Márki-Zay, because he delivers stories that are unfavorable for the opposition, but turn out to be really favorable for Fidesz," opined the opposition analyst.
