The prime ministerial candidate of the left received another serious criticism from the opposition side. According to political scientist Tibor Attila Nagy, Péter Márki-Zay made himself totally frivolous with his TikTok video evoking the depths of Falus Ferenc.

At the time, many were surprised by the famous video of the left-liberal mayor-aspirant Ferenc Falus regarding the ice bucket challenge, but now it seems that Péter Márki-Zay is using similar tools. The left-wing Prime Minister candidate launched his TikTok campaign with a very unique video. The work, called an "unorthodox DIY video" by Index, was removed from its page after a while, but several people saved it, signaling to posterity: it can be safely said that the election campaign is intensifying. - can be read on the promenád.hu portal

After it appears that the new Ference Falus of the left has been born, Egon Rónai also rubbed it under the nose of Egon Rónai in ATV the other day, his large-scale creation intended as a campaign blaster is "quite mixed". Márki-Zay responded that there is nothing to see here, "no problem as long as you don't make a clown out of yourself, but stay YOURSELF".

Well, opposition analysts are also keenly interested in this particular SELF-IDENTITY. The well-known and respected political scientist Tibor Attila Nagy specifically sees

With this video, Márki-Zay practically killed himself in a political sense, because he became totally frivolous. The specialist spoke about this in an interview with the left-liberal 168 Hours.

"Authority also includes the fact that one does not become frivolous. A few days ago, a TikTok video appeared, in which they sing terribly falsely, and then Márki-Zay also appears and says that 'only up'. Well, after this video, you have to decide whether the politician wants to become prime minister or a circus ringmaster," said Tibor Attila Nagy.

He continued that the politician from Vásárhely obviously thought that this production would look good on social media, but "the recording should have been stopped after the fake singing. The context is very bad, the false singing about Hungary. The Prime Minister candidate walked into this inherently bad environment.

This could never happen with Viktor Orbán."

He added that Hungarian society traditionally considers the role of the state to be important and depends on the state. This also means that the country longs for a strong, decisive leader who has authority, but the left-wing prime minister's candidate does not paint such a picture of himself at all. In particular, he constantly engages in scandalous statements, attacks popular government measures, insults various social groups, and moreover, if someone within the opposition dares to criticize him, he immediately betrays him backhandedly.

In another article, Tibor Attila Nagy criticizes the last Sunday evening video entry of the left-wing prime ministerial candidate, in which Márki-Zay was no longer allowed to appear on his own. Regarding this, the political scientist states that "it is not necessary to win economic-scientific discourse, but parliamentary elections."

"We also need to win the votes of the poorer voters, many of whom presumably welcomed even the government's announcement of this small price cap. For them, the extra few hundred forints (or at least the hope of it) means something, and words used to criticize this price cap, such as "pathetic", "irresponsible", "stupid", do not help to win their vote. It is not good to use them, because it gives the opponent an opportunity to attack Márki-Zay by saying that he is against measures to help the poor." said Tibor Attila Nagy.

"It can be said that Viktor Orbán's best campaign manager is Péter Márki-Zay, because he delivers stories that are unfavorable for the opposition, but turn out to be really favorable for Fidesz," opined the opposition analyst.
