"What's at stake?!" The Miskolc Club of the Civil Unity Forum organized its Civil Academy in Miskolc on Thursday afternoon.
The guest of the event held in the House of Science and Technology was Katalin Csöbör, a member of parliament, and the expert guest was political scientist Zoltán Kiszelly, director of the Political Analysis Center of the Századvég Foundation.
Contributed by dr. Rita Hortai, president of the Circle of Poet Friends.
The discussion was led by Attila Lengyel, president of the CÖF Miskolc Club.
The Civil Academy has set several important and current topics on its agenda. One of them is that Western Europe, giving up its cultural roots, sacrifices its future rooted in the past of its ancestors on the altar of prosperity.
Said:
"For the childless European Union elite, the spiritual and human-shaping power of the family is a valuable asset, together with the homeland and its unconditional love. Instead, the expectation for unlimited individual freedom works in people, especially in the leaders of organizations that claim the right to represent them or institutions that exercise power. As a result, the individual can put his own interests before the interests of the community, as a result of which the web of threads of belonging that ensure the existence of society unravels, and freedom turns into freedom".
