It is deeply troubling to see that Fox supports China and Russia, its closest ally in the region, and serves as a mouthpiece for anti-American propaganda, said the vice president of the American Open Society Foundation.

On Friday, the Washington Post published a lengthy article about the "Hungary vs. Soros: Battle for Civilization" . The Hungarian premiere of the documentary will be this Sunday at 20:30 on HírTV. In the article, the Post also spoke to the vice president of the American Open Society Foundations, György Soros. Laura Silber explained that Soros and his foundation have “worked for more than thirty years to support vibrant and inclusive democracies whose governments are held accountable by the people they serve. Mr. Carlson, on the other hand, seems to prefer authoritarian rule, state capture of the media and courts, crony corruption, and rigged elections.”

Silber added:

"It is deeply disturbing to see Fox supporting its closest regional ally, China and Russia, and serving as a mouthpiece for anti-American propaganda."

About Tucker Carlson's new movie

The Washington Post noted that Carlson's new film ends with him asking, "How do you beat George Soros?" . The presenter then answers the question: "The answer turns out to be simple:

We need leaders who love their country, who care about the future and the people who live there.

We need leaders who are willing to fight.”
