Existing and new customers of the Hungarian Treasury can win vouchers that can be exchanged for government securities for purchasing government securities and opening accounts. Those who open a new securities account or a Start account for their child and buy government securities for at least HUF 100,000, or who invest the same amount in government securities in their existing account by March 31, can enter the prize draw, reads the announcement of the Treasury.
The Hungarian Treasury is considered the market leader in the online sale of government securities, as well as in the opening of securities accounts through the Customer Portal without personal appearance. The Treasury manages 35 percent of the current stock of government securities in the hands of the public, the value of which is more than HUF 3,500 billion. In addition, families have already opened Start accounts for nearly 273,000 children, who own Baby Bonds worth HUF 153 billion.
The aim of the campaign, which is starting now, is to make citizens who intend to invest their savings aware of the advantages of purchasing government securities at the Treasury. The Treasury provides a number of convenient services and favorable conditions for managing savings: account management is free of charge, and you can also manage your savings online conveniently and securely using the Web Treasury and Mobile Treasury services.

In the two-month raffle, you can win 50,000 forints for purchasing government securities, and 100,000 forints for purchasing government securities linked to the opening of a new account, which can be used to purchase government securities at the Treasury.
By purchasing government securities, you can win government securities if you open a new securities account or a Treasury Start securities account at the Hungarian Treasury between February 1 and March 31, 2022, and purchase government securities for at least HUF 100,000. 25 HUF 100,000 vouchers will be drawn among the new investors.
Current customers of the treasury should also increase their savings now. In this case, all you have to do is to invest at least HUF 100,000 in your existing securities account or your child's Treasury Start account during the prize draw period and you can win one of 50 Prize Vouchers worth HUF 50,000, which you can use to buy government securities at the Treasury.
The intention to participate in the prize draw must be indicated via the Customer Portal on the magyarorszag.hu page under the menu item Finance/Investments, savings, loans.
A person can even enter both sweepstakes if the above conditions are met.
