It is hard to believe that after the events of the past period, there are still those who imagine the future of Europe with a mass of immigrants.
But at this week's event of the Friends of Europe think-tank, the idea came back into focus after Giles Merritt presented his book "Why We Need More Migrants". According to the writer, the only solution to the aging of society is migration, while protecting European culture would only make life more difficult for the next generation.
The Hungarian government, on the other hand, proved that there is indeed another solution: with a successful family policy, we can provide an effective response to demographic challenges, while stopping illegal immigration at our southern border.
So there is an alternative.
Europe, wake up call!
