"You can do more!" initiative Hungary's largest pollinator protection program.

For the first time, a Hungarian program won the Global Sustainability Grand Prize at the Golden World Awards competition and became the educational campaign that best supports the UN's sustainable development goals in the world in 2023, announced the Pressinform communication agency that launched the program.

They highlighted, "You can do more!" initiative Hungary's largest pollinator protection program. Its purpose is to draw attention to the mass destruction of bees and other pollinators, to improve the situation of the beekeeping industry, which provides the livelihood of twenty thousand Hungarian families, and to encourage domestic honey consumption.

The professional jury of the International PR Association awarded the Global Sustainability Grand Prize to the Hungarian program out of hundreds of applications. This one of the most prestigious professional awards can be given to the application that most promotes the UN's sustainable development goals. According to the rationale, "You can do more!" it also helps to achieve two global goals: ending hunger and protecting terrestrial ecosystems.

At Friday's Golden World Awards gala in Barcelona, ​​campaigns were awarded in 38 categories.

"You can do more!" received an award at IPRA's 2021 regional Golden World Awards and was selected as one of the four best Eastern European programs of the year. One of its elements is the exhibition Humming in the Museum, which opened in 2022 at the Hungarian Museum of Natural Sciences. The program is organized by Pressinform on behalf of the Pannon Valuables, the National Hungarian Bee Association and the Hungarian Museum of Natural History.
