Let's start from the basic logical connections: all Hungarian citizens are members of the Hungarian nation (of course, if they want to be), but not all members of the Hungarian nation are Hungarian citizens.
A Hungarian citizen has the right to vote in Hungarian parliamentary elections, but his decision affects the entire nation. It really doesn't matter what kind of legislation and government Hungary has. Because Hungary is more than a country, and much more than an EU member state: a homeland, a protectorate, the keeper of the Hungarian nation as a whole.
The Hungarian left does not understand this, and they never did.
At every turning point, they betrayed the nation - and the country as well, it was just enough for them to turn the country into the most cheerful barracks, especially with the fact that they were the smashers in that barracks.
Let's not go far, let's look at 1956. In 1956, the Romanian comrades provided practically everything for the sake of the Hungarian comrades in order to execute Imré Nagy. In return, the Hungarian comrades turned their heads when in 1958, as a kind of showdown, they melted down the last Hungarian university of science in the Hungarian language, beheaded the Hungarian intelligentsia, sentenced many to death, severe prison terms, and silence in conceptual trials. If we add it all up, proportionally there were more victims of the retaliation after the 1956 revolution in Transylvania than in Hungary.
The János Kádárs confirmed the "policy of non-intervention", friendly socialist countries did not interfere in each other's affairs, even if the lives of one and a half million Hungarians were at stake. They all served the cause of the great Soviet Communism. Ceaușescu did not even comply with the socialist minimum, he took János Kádár to task and made him titter whenever he felt like it. János Kádár sulked and ran to complain to the Soviet nursery school uncle, but Moscow did everything from above, Ceaușescu proved to be more useful to the empire than Kádár,
the fate of the one and a half million Transylvanian Hungarians did not even seem like a rounding error compared to the balance sheet total.
At the time of the destruction of villages, when hundreds of thousands of Hungarians from the motherland mobilized, Comrade Ceaușescu strangely assigned Comrade Károly Grósz to Arad in 1988. Comrade Grósz went with his knees high, saw and lost. He was properly slapped by the Romanian dictator, Comrade Grósz pulled his ears and tail and turned away.
The Hungarian left has once again betrayed the nation.
Then came the regime change, József Antall stated the obvious, that a Hungarian prime minister is in spirit the prime minister of fifteen million Hungarians. The Hungarian left had a foaming-at-the-mouth tantrum, and the socialists and liberals together crucified the first freely elected statesman who dared to think in the nation. The liberals could then realize that democracy is not such a good form of organization after all, because the will of the God-given people does not always follow theirs, the plebs dare to think differently about the world than what they would consider correct within the Great Ring Road. They quickly joined hands with the communists, sacrificed their principles for power, and became a bird-shaped badge on Comrade Gyula Horn's puffer jacket.
In 1998, there was a glimmer of hope, the first Orbán government carried out a national turnaround, we started to feel like a middle European nation, scattered in several countries in its homeland, but loving and building one country.
Nah, the left-wing hydra did everything with international help to suffocate the awakening national sentiment in its infancy. What the new Moscow would have missed was for the Central European nations to feel equal to the brilliant West. Let these worn-out Easterners, freed from the communist rabiga, be happy that they have been given a place at the end of the table, and that they can get back a little residue of the crops collected from the fairy garden of the Carpathian Basin.
The Hungarian left served the new imperial center just as servilely as the old one, if only they could once again be the maintenance officers of the most cheerful barracks.
They became and picked up where they left off. On December 1, 2002, Comrade Péter Medgyessy toasted the kidnapping of Transylvania with the Romanian and "Romanian of Hungarian nationality" comrades in the Kempinsky, and then the shameful referendum followed on December 5, 2004. Even this was not enough for them: while the conductor of hatred, Ferenc Gyurcsány, was lying Hungary to the edge of the abyss, the young reds - to mention the episodic role of our latest left-wing hero - comrades Nyakó and Ujhelyi rushed to Nagyvárad in 2008 to incite the Transylvanian Hungarians to a hate campaign.
Thank God 2010 came, the Hungarian left was defeated three times by the voters, three times by two-thirds they made it clear what the desired direction was: forward, not backward. The Hungarian left has learned nothing. Fortunately, it weakened. The devolution of the left - in the apt formulation of Zsolt Bayer - looks like this: MSZMP - MSZP - MZP.
The MSZMP "did not intervene", the MSZP railed against Hungarians living abroad, the MZP also counts foreigners working in Hungary with a "migrant counter". The same message as in 2004 and any time the left has been in power. Not much more proof is needed:
whenever they can, they lash out at the nation.
This is where we are now. Also, so much has happened that today Ujhelyi has become a new fool, the Hungarian voice of woke-progression, selling his country in Brussels for thousands of euros on our money. The exterior is European, the interior is the same. As his last outburst showed: they are the same.
