Although time is running out, the parties of the left cannot agree on a joint list despite the fact that Péter Márki-Zay resigned from his own faction and the inclusion of the three Roma politicians he requested is also uncertain. By the way, the negotiations on the list are stalled because Mayor Gergely Karácsony, who is also co-chairman of Párbeszéd, is currently skiing. In the meantime, András Schiffer said: he is dissatisfied with the performance of the political elite, so he is voting for the Hungarian Kétfarkú Kutya Party.
Although the campaign period officially begins on Saturday, and the lists must be submitted by February 26 at the latest, the left is still unable to compile a joint list. However, speed would be in their own interest, since they could get access to central campaign support sooner, they could buy the voter register sooner and they could also delegate a member to the National Election Committee sooner.
The six left-wing parties are debating on a single mandate, as their candidate for prime minister, Péter Márki-Zay, has already resigned from his faction, and the list of the three Roma politicians he requested is also uncertain.
MSZP and Párbeszéd failed to reach an agreement on the number of mandates on the list, so there is no joint electoral list yet, Ágnes Kunhalmi, co-president of MSZP, told Inforádio. It is known: the socialists want eight seats for themselves, while the other parties together with Párbeszéd would give them that many. The co-chairman confirmed the press reports that he did not participate in the last negotiation on the joint list due to the absence of MSZP-Párbeszéd Karácsony Karácsony, which is also why the agreement is being delayed.
Although Ágnes Kunhalmi did not address it, the mayor - who is also the co-chairman of Párbeszéd - did not appear at the meeting because he was skiing at the time in question.
CACOPHONY - What comes through is cacophony - András Schiffer, the founder of the LMP, said in an interview with Inforádio, referring to the opposition. He added: - So much is coming across that what Fidesz is doing is wrong, and we want to do the opposite of everything. […] This is not only sweet, but also discredits what the opposition has to say, because I think relatively few people have such an experience that basically everything, including the diagnoses, is bad as it is, and I will go on, actually this is not the message of Péter Márki-Zay either. on the billboards - noted Schiffer, who also revealed that he will cast his vote for the Hungarian Two-Tailed Dog Party.
