In Hungary, over the past decade, young people have received more and more support to start their lives. The fourth part of KINCS Percek is about measures to help start a career and start a family.

The KINCS Percek video series launched by the Mária Kopp Institute for Population and Families presents the successes of Hungarian family and population policy. The short films of a few minutes always focus on one topic at a time and objectively prove the effectiveness of the measures with data.

Under left-wing governments, youth unemployment was twice as high as it is now. In 2010, there was a family-friendly turn: since then, the employment of young people has been steadily increasing. They will be helped by the fact that they will not have to pay personal income tax from 2022, which will increase their income by an average of 22 percent.

The free KRESZ exam, the free language exam and discounted student loans, which have been used by hundreds of thousands of young people in recent years, also help young people start their careers. Support for young people's plans to start a family is provided by the baby support, the home creation program, the tax discount for first married couples, the student allowance and the student loan waiver in case of having a child.

Hungary is a family-friendly country where young people are valued. Let's keep it like this, let's keep our common TREASURES!
