In his latest video, the masked figure promises revealing information and exciting days.
Anonymous at work again. Magyar Nemzet writes in its Monday morning article : their editors received another video from an unknown e-mail address, in which the masked figure promises further revelations, this time targeting politicians in the capital's districts.
You can believe it, you can find interesting things here too. We are looking forward to exciting days"
- said the masked figure suspiciously.
You can watch Anonymus' latest video below:
Magyar Nemzet recalls in connection with the video: Anonymus has so far come forward with two cases, first last summer he exposed the network organized around the family company of the momentous Katalin Cseh, and secondly at the end of last year he presented the operation of the "commission system" operated in the capital.
The essence of the first one is that the Czech Katalins obtained HUF 4.8 billion in EU support under rather suspicious circumstances. Several companies systematically cooperated and changed their locations and branches in a coordinated manner,
probably won several tenders without real performance and pocketed non-reimbursable subsidies.
The case is currently being investigated for budget fraud.
City Hall case
Another big move by Anonymus is the commission system in the capital led by Gergely Karácsony and
it was the unveiling of the secretly planned sale of the City Hall.
The masked figure sent countless audio materials to several media, which proved that behind the scenes advanced negotiations were taking place about the sale of one of Budapest's most valuable properties. In addition to the representatives of the Russian investor circles, Balázs Barts, the head of the capital's asset management company, Gyula Gansperger, the left-wing entrepreneur, Gordon Bajnai, the former prime minister, and Zsolt Berki, the so-called man with the bag, took part in the business negotiations.
The recordings also revealed the details of the "commission system" in the capital.
An important figure in this is the aforementioned Zsolt Berki, who collected and distributed the bribes. The entrepreneur is believed to have played a role in the sale of several important properties in the capital, and had excellent relations with the asset manager and the City Hall. The threads of the case may reach the highest level of the Budapest municipality.
The Christmas people deny it
Of course, Gergely Karácsony and his staff deny everything. At the same time, the police ordered an investigation due to a thorough suspicion of influence peddling, fraud, bribery, acceptance of bribes, abuse of office and dishonesty. According to press reports, house searches were conducted at several locations, including the City Hall and the property manager's building, and the authorities seized evidence.
Based on the above, it can be stated that
when Anonymus appeared, he pulled the lid on suspected criminal cases.
It is not yet known who will be targeted by the masked figure, but it is likely to be district corruption, reports Magyar Nemzet.
