Gergely Gulyás, the minister in charge of the Prime Minister's Office, spoke about the importance and extent of the nursery and kindergarten developments carried out in the last 5-6 years on Monday at the capital's XXII. district, at the handover ceremony of a nursery school with minimal energy consumption.

He emphasized: when evaluating the government's activities, family policy receives the most recognition, and in addition to family support, the creation of the institutional background is also an important element of this area. He recalled: the number of kindergarten places has now increased to almost 400,000, and as a result of the improvements, there are 30 percent more kindergarten places than before. Gergely Gulyás added that it depends on the parents' decision whether to send their child to a nursery school.

The state must make it possible for the institutions that are meant to provide parents with the freedom of decision to be available - emphasized the minister, emphasizing the importance of parents being able to use similar public services in the outer parts of the settlements as in the city center.

Zsolt Németh (Fidesz), the chairman of the Parliament's foreign affairs committee and the government candidate for the 18th electoral district of the region, Budapest, highlighted that an exemplary and unique technical concept has been implemented in the 72-seat institution, which fulfills its task with minimal energy requirements.

He emphasized: the parents and the teachers working here had a say in the design of the building, and the end result was a nursery school that was clear and in accordance with the educational aspects in all respects, in which the children have the opportunity to spend as much time as possible outdoors.

Zsolt Németh added: the district municipality has the fate of the pre-school children's institutions close at heart, and the family-friendly government provided significant support for the investment.
