It's creepy, but in some countries you don't even need parental permission over the age of 12 to start a gender reassignment process. We don't want to interfere in other people's lives, we ask our critics that they don't want to tell us how to live either - vasarnap.hu spoke with Lőrinc Nacsa, a representative of the Fidesz-KDNP parliament.

Both of them – both the parliamentary election and the child protection referendum – have huge stakes. We can see that since the adoption of the Child Protection Act, we have been attacked on an unprecedented scale by the Western European liberal press and left-liberal political elite. Although we do not claim anything other than the right of parents to raise their children.

In our opinion, various NGOs, (non-governmental organizations) propagandists and activists have no right to advertise sexual propaganda in kindergartens and schools.

That is why we ask people to vote four nos in the referendum.

This way we can protect our children and the rights of parents. After all, let's not forget that the parent's right to education should be primary. The referendum is therefore not against something, but in favor of our children.

Lőrinc Nagya is not only a Member of Parliament, but also a father of three children, who thinks that parenthood changes and reevaluates a lot of things in a person's life. From then on, we feel boundless love for a little person. We know that children's souls are fragile and vulnerable, so they are entrusted to us, parents, in the first decades of their lives. It is our job to raise and protect them. My wife and I would hate it if various Brussels-financed NGOs appeared in kindergartens and schools and our children received sexual propaganda.

Not only those who are parents should go to the election, but also those who feel it is important that the young people of the Hungarian national community can receive a healthy, normal education suitable for their age.

The legislators are not alone in this fight, this is exactly what the referendum is about. Millions of people are represented by the Child Protection Act. Our kindergarten teachers, teachers, churches and, of course, parents are also on the front lines.

I think that Hungarian society is quite united on this issue.

We don't want to interfere in how the Swedes, Canadians, and English do it, but we ask that they don't interfere in how we live our lives either. In Great Britain, a minor undergoes gender reassignment surgery every day. And in Canada, professionals and therapists who want to convince minors to keep their birth gender and not change it can face up to five years in prison. In other words, don't go for hormone treatment, don't opt for surgery.

It's creepy, but in some countries you don't even need parental permission over the age of 12 to start a gender reassignment process.

I believe that young people can count on the Fidesz-KDNP government. From the first of January, the tax exemption for those under the age of 25 started, which I think can be a huge help to young people starting their careers and about to start a family. With all this, it becomes a little easier to create your own existence.

Around 2009, when I started working alongside the university, the figure was between 18 and 36 percent.

It doesn't really matter. We could talk about the various scholarship programs, from the free KRESZ exam to the free language exam, but we could also talk at length about more competitive higher education or even the introduction of dual vocational training. I believe that we have managed to regain our national self-esteem and pride. All of this stems from a sense of responsibility for our future. Young people also feel that it is good for them to take part in the country and nation-building work.

The entire Hungarian society needs peace and security. Young people can also predictably plan their lives, further education, starting a job, and starting a family when there is predictability, peace and security around them, and not the chaos represented by the politics of Ferenc Gyurcsány and Péter Márki-Zay. I think that in the next four years, if we receive the trust of the voters, then, in addition to the existing programs, greater assistance to young entrepreneurs and the encouragement of young people to become entrepreneurs will be a priority task of the government.
