The mayor of Sepsiszentgyörgy, Árpád Antal, reacted on his social media page to the left-liberal expressions demanding the destruction of Hungarian votes abroad. This is what the designers of the hoax wanted to achieve.

"Today, recordings were published in the media of Transylvania and Hungary, which show discarded ballots collected in bags in Jedden, Maros County. The RMDSZ condemns the accusations that suggest that this is an election fraud.

We also consider the request of the opposition parties in Hungary to be unacceptable and unfounded, which says that all cross-border votes must be destroyed. The footage confirms that it is clearly an organized provocation aimed at discrediting the votes across the border.

All of us who have completed a postal ballot know that every sealed envelope contains an identification statement. Without it, the vote is not valid! The intention to discredit is therefore obvious!" Árpád Antal wrote in his Facebook post.
