According to the director of the Századvég Center for Political Analysis, regardless of this, the weather will not have a big effect on the participation rate, because it depends more on mobilization and whether war or peace has become the central issue of the election.
Zoltán Kiszelly said that the choice was clearly narrowed down to war or peace, oil or blood, and strategic calm or arms deliveries. "It is no coincidence that after casting his vote, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán also mentioned the issue of war or peace first when asked about the stakes of the election," he added.
