Since 1990, so many people have never decided in the same direction in any referendum, as they have now in the issues of child protection, writes Bence Rétvári on his social media page.

The Secretary of State noted,

In the child protection referendum in 2022, more than 3.5 million people agreed on the individual issues.

Bence Rétvári reminded that since 1990, the highest agreement in a referendum was in 2016, when 3.3 million people agreed on the resettlement quota. The situation was similar in 2008, when 3.3 million people voted in one direction on the visit fee and daily hospital fee.

The Hungarian people therefore confirmed the child protection law in a referendum in an unprecedented number in the history of Hungarian democracy.

This obliges all democrats - said Bence Rétvári.
