The member countries must realize that with the sanctions imposed on the energy sector, they would put the knife in their own backs. The war will not end by shutting off the gas taps, but the member states would use up their reserves, factories would have to be closed, power outages would become permanent and people would lose their jobs, writes the minister on his social media page.
Left-liberal politicians need to stop their irresponsible statements and come to their senses. With the sanctions imposed on the energy sector, we are not helping Ukraine, but instead we are destroying our own economies. For Hungary, the proposed sanctions affecting the energy sector continue to be a red line. Our country is committed to peace and security. The government will continue to protect the Hungarian economy.
