This admission didn't even stir the standing water. However, the question must be asked: who authorized the leaders of the EU's two biggest powers to prepare for war in Europe, and not for Europe, but for America? Not their parties, not their parliaments, not their population.
Without the war, the European economy would continue to enjoy the benefits of cheap energy, inflation would be lower, much less would have to be spent on armaments, and there would be no danger of escalation or a conflict frozen for decades.
Why did they give in to America?!
And don't be in any doubt, this was hardly the first and last case where decisions about our fate are made behind the scenes, excluding the elected bodies. Have they already agreed that if a conflict with China breaks out, NATO unity will be ensured even with military force? Just to give an example. However, Taiwan is not a NATO member.
In America, legal and, let's say, creative electoral means are used to ensure that the "right" president and representatives sit in positions of power. And what was realized in America always came over to Europe sooner or later.
