Work and professional work have a future in Hungary, those who have the knowledge and profession, as well as the courage to use it all, have nothing to fear even in difficult times - emphasized the Prime Minister at the XV. At the opening of the Professional Star Festival on Monday in Budapest.

Viktor Orbán said: "the national forces won the parliamentary elections three weeks ago with an unprecedented level of support", and the voters also said yes to what the government has achieved in vocational training in the past 12 years. and with the Chamber of Commerce.

He recalled: in the recent period, dual training was expanded, training forms were made more viable, vocational training centers and a scholarship system for skilled workers were established, as well as serious steps were taken in the direction of digitalization, and the government ensures the acquisition of the first two professions or professional qualifications free of charge.

Thanks to all of this 250,000 people are currently studying vocational training in Hungary , the demand for qualified skilled workers is increasing, the entrepreneurial career is also becoming more and more popular and more profitable, said the prime minister.

He reminded us that this is the eighth time he is here at this event, and he has always encouraged the participants to believe that "work, and especially skilled work, has a future in Hungary".

Two pieces of good advice summarize why it's worth learning a profession: what's worth doing, it's worth doing well, and if you're good at something, ask for the price, he said. He evaluated it as follows: life proved that demanding work is the surest source of livelihood and will become even more so in the future.

He drew attention to the fact that, although it may seem unfair that we have "barely recovered" from the coronavirus epidemic, we have already "got the war raging around our necks", instead of "damning the circumstances", we should rather strengthen ourselves in " whose who has knowledge, who has a profession, and who has enough courage to use all of this, he has nothing to fear even in difficult times.... If we do our job well, we can come out of this trouble stronger and take a big step forward, not backward," he said, encouraging young people choosing a career to choose a profession for themselves. He emphasized: Hungary is the place where it is worth living and where it is worth working, because our country is one of the best places in Europe.

The prime minister told the young people: new factories, sites, new production centers have grown out of the ground, and they all "count on your work". We provide tax relief to young people starting their careers and to companies that "employ you", we support starting a family and creating a home, building and renovating houses, he listed.

He stated: those who want to make a living from their work in Hungary today will have a job, will have a home, and can raise their children in a safe environment in the most beautiful country in the world . "You won't get a better deal from any other country," he added.

The prime minister told the teachers: the many important and resounding results "would not have been possible without your work". The domestic and international results of Hungarian skilled workers testify to the excellent instructors and teachers working in the Hungarian vocational training system , he opined. He added: they should be thanked for their sacrificial work.
