As is known, after the elections, the elected representatives of several opposition parties indicated that they would not participate in the inaugural session. Fidesz faction leader Máté Kocsis reminded them on Monday that whoever does not participate in the inaugural session of the parliament will not be a representative or an official.
After Kocsis's statement, the LMP, MSZP and Párbeszéd announced that they would go to the inaugural meeting. Now Momentum decided so. According to their press release, the party presidency decided that their faction led by András Fekete-Győr will take the parliamentary oath on May 2, but then boycott "the substantive part of the constituent session" because they do not recognize the election as fair.
