Justice Minister Judit Varga started her latest Facebook post with this title. As he writes: According to a study by one of the largest German economic research institutes, difficult times would come to Germany and thus to Europe if we accepted the latest Brussels sanctions package.
In Germany, instead of a 3 percent increase, GDP would decrease by 2 percent in 2022.
The price of natural gas would double and the German gas reservoirs would be empty by the beginning of winter, thereby endangering residential heating.
Many companies would have to reduce or immediately stop production, thus the livelihood of 2.8 million(!!!) people would be immediately threatened.
We will not let the Hungarian people and Hungarian families pay the price of the war.
