The Polish Prime Minister also sent a congratulatory letter to Viktor Orbán on the occasion of his re-election as Prime Minister, Bertalan Havasi, Deputy State Secretary in charge of the Prime Minister's Press Office, told MTI.

In his letter, Mateusz Morawiecki emphasized that "Poland and Hungary are connected by many centuries of friendship, which formed the basis of our cooperation so far. The shared history of the two countries has given us many proofs of mutual support. I trust that we can continue to develop and strengthen our relations," he wrote.

In his letter, he also reported that he considers the solidarity of allies particularly important in the current situation, when "the Russian aggression against Ukraine has destroyed the foundations of peace and stabilization in Europe," the Polish Prime Minister wrote to Viktor Orbán.
