Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, president of Fidesz, held talks in Paris with Marine Le Pen, president of the French National Coalition.
According to Bertalan Havasi, the Prime Minister's press chief, the meeting focused on the dangers facing Europe, such as the war in Ukraine and its economic consequences, the unprecedented rise in prices, Brussels' faulty and dangerous sanctions policy and the escalation of the migration crisis.
Viktor Orbán and Marine Le Pen agreed that European parties representing traditional values should unite in order to protect the continent's nations even in times of danger and war.
It has been proven that Brussels bureaucrats and left-wing parties cannot be counted on to protect European people and families, they said.
Viktor Orbán informed the President of the National Assembly about the Hungarian government measures presented this week, with which they protect families, pensioners, jobs and utility reduction even in the protracted war situation.
Marine Le Pen spoke with appreciation about the extra-profit special tax system introduced in Hungary.
