From Saturday, poems will be sung again at the railway stations along the Lake Balaton. Travelers can enjoy the works of Hungarian poets performed by actors as part of the initiative of the Balatonalmádi Golden Bridge Civic Association entitled "Vers a peronon".

This year too, the competition starts on the day of national unity. From June 4 to September 11, a total of 36 poems will be performed during the summer months at 27 railway stations on or near Balaton, MÁV Zrt. told MTI on Friday.

Sándor Reményik's poem for the day of national unity is followed by poems by Ádám Dukay, Csaba Hartay, József Romhányi, Ágnes Nagy Nemes, and János Vajda during the three months. Lajos Áprily, Sándor Petőfi, Ferenc Kölcsey, Attila József, Miklós Radnóti, Endre Ady, Zsigmond Móricz, and Árpád Tóth will also be heard. In addition, Balázs Szálinger, János Géczi, István Kemény, Zsófi Kemény, János Háy, Gizella Hervay, Péter Kántor. But we can also find the poems of János Áfra, Attila Sohonyai, Magda Szabó, Gyula Juhász, Anna T. Szabó, Lívia Földes and Mihály Vörösmarty.

The poems are recited by Imre Csuja, Anikó Für, Sándor Gáspár, Adelaida Halas, János Háy, Orsolya Holecskó, Péter Kálloy Molnár, Imola Korhecz, Marcell Likó. Péter Mihály, Péter Nagy, Áron Őze, Anna T. Szabó, József Szarvas, Balázs Szálinger and Ildikó Tóth will also be heard. The narration is given by the actor Ernő Kiss, the sound engineer Marcell Köves, the chief sound engineer of the Hevesi Sándor Theater. The musical signal was played by 9-year-old Czompó Botond on the piano.

From June 4 to September 4, poems can be heard at the stations in Keszthely, Vonyarcvashegy, Badacsonytomaj, Révfülöpi, Zánka-Köveskáli, Balatonakali-Dörgicse, and Balatonfüred. In addition, at the stations of Alsóörs, Balatonalmád, Balatonfüzfő, Balatonkenes, Veszprém, Zalaegerszeg, Sümeg, Tapolca and Zirci. From mid-June to September 11, you can enjoy the poems at the Balatonboglár, Balatonszemes, Balatonszárszó, Balatonföldvár and Zamárd stations. In addition, at the stations of Balatonfenyves, Balatonmáriafürdő, Balatonlelle, Balatonaliga, Fonyód and Siófok.
