Rzeczpospolita conducted an interview with the Social Democrat Dietmar Nietan, the representative of the German Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs responsible for relations with Poland, who was asked what he thought about the fact that Jarosław Kaczyński had previously called Germany an "extremely destructive European element" for not treating Poland as an equal partner, reports the Mandarin.
"If we are talking about destruction in Europe, then I advise you to look at Viktor Orbán's actions, how he evaluates President Zelenskyi and Ukraine's chances of becoming a candidate for EU membership," replied Nietan.
In the conversation, he criticized the fact that "Hungary tried to block" , probably referring to the sanctions package concerning the Russian oil embargo.
"Our relationship with Viktor Orbán's government is not good. If Kaczyński is talking about a destructive element in Europe, he should rather talk about Orbán, not Chancellor Scholz," he declared.
