As expected, the EU summit ended with the acceptance of Ukraine's and Moldova's EU membership candidacy. Anyone who doubted this must have come from an alien planet and knows nothing about European politics.
Of course, membership candidacy does not mean automatic admission (ask Turkey or Serbia about that), but nothing in the Union can be taken as cash today. If we examine the rules and requirements applicable to all new entrants, Ukraine would certainly never be admitted.
If there is a country that does not meet these conditions in any respect, it is Zelensky's empire. Even if Ursula von der Leyen is lying that Ukraine has done a lot to strengthen the rule of law, we have to ask again: Where? When?
But we have already seen a miracle in Brussels, we know very well that if the globalists want to achieve something, they will break their own rules without batting an eye. Is that what we should expect this time as well?
However, the fact remains: Ukraine and Moldova have become candidates for membership. Balázs Orbán , the prime minister's political director, writes about what happened on his social media page
"The EU summit is over: the European Council has agreed, Ukraine and Moldova have also received candidate status. I said on Kossuth Radio that Hungary has been one of the biggest supporters of the European integration of the Balkan and Eastern European countries for many years. It is a historic step that both Ukraine and Moldova received the candidate status, but the work is not over yet.
Now we must strive to bring Georgia and Bosnia one step closer to EU integration and become candidate countries. And in the case of the Western Balkans, it's time to remove the bureaucratic obstacles so that they too can become part of the European Union after many years of waiting."
