György Sepsiszent's popular event is back. The organizers have confirmed that in 2022, the Grand Production of István, the King of Székelyföld, which will be played five times in August, will be shown again in the Sepsi Arena.

There is no doubt that this performance was last year's award-winning production for the organizers, the performers, and the audience. After the shows in August, which were realized only with participants from Transylvania and Székelyföld, it became a kind of requirement that it be seen again in 2022, so the organizers proudly announced that this year the same 405 people who made it a success last year will be on stage or working behind the scenes. the rock opera. Director-choreographer Orza Călin, music director Zsolt Herbert Szilágyi, vocal tutor Emese Cserkész, and choreographer Zsolt Csaba Tőkés will once again take the lion's share in staging the big production.

The big production in Székelyföld will be played again five times, between August 20 and 24, with the participation of "the world's best rock band", i.e. Gábor Pál (drums), Csongor Kerezsi (bass guitar), Imre Lőrincz (rhythm guitar), Kálmán Makkai (lead guitar ), Pál Zakariás (piano, organ) and Attila István Sztakics (synthesizers), alongside the Háromszék Dance Ensemble, the Bekecs Folk Dance Theater, the Udvarhely Folk Dance Workshop and the Kincskerősék Folk Dance Ensemble, as well as the 32-member symphony orchestra and the selected choir. Producer Zsolt Dancs believes that it would be impossible to move the already mentioned 405-person crew, so they found a home in the Sepsi Arena, and their goal is for the audience to come to them, not for the production to travel.
