The Civil Solidarity Forum-Civil Solidarity Non-profit Foundation has sent an open letter to the competent EU committee, asking what qualifications does the green representative who prepared a comprehensive report on Hungary have? Apart from his name and the fact that he is a Green Party, no information is known about the creator of the "country report". Here is the open letter:

Dear Committee, Dear Committee Members!

As the leading non-governmental organization in Hungary, the Civil Söfzefogas Közhaznú Alapítvány (CÖF-CÖKA) is contacting you with the following inquiry.

According to a left-wing daily newspaper, the "European Parliament has decided" to prepare another country report on Hungary, the compiler of which, the French Green Party Gwendoline Delbos- Corfield , mainly "refers to the reports and decisions of international and European institutions and reviews the functioning of the constitutional system, the judiciary independence, corruption, data protection, freedom of expression, academic, associational and religious freedom, the right to equal treatment, the rights of minorities, migrants and asylum seekers, as well as economic and social rights."

In our opinion, such a job presupposes, among other things, thorough knowledge of law, administration and sociology, following this we looked into whether the rapporteur's education makes the Green Party representative suitable for such a huge job, however, to our honest astonishment, we did not find a single biographical data on the website of the European
Parliament neither in English nor in Hungarian regarding Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield.

Since we can agree that a politician performing such a prominent task is expected to make his education public, we therefore ask the Honorable Committee to kindly send us the curriculum vitae data for the relevant member out of sequence.

In the unlikely event that information is not provided, we reserve the right to take further legal action.

Budapest, July 7, 2022.

Sincerely,
Management of CÖF-CÖKA
