On August 4, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán was invited to Dallas, Texas, to give an opening speech at the largest and most influential conservative event in the world, the American CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference), Bertalan Havasi, the prime minister's press chief, informed MTI on Monday.

CPAC is a right-wing political jamboree founded in 1974 by the American Conservative Union (ACU); during its nearly half-century history, it has become the most popular event of the ACU, moving tens of thousands of conservatives.

Viktor Orbán also gave a speech at CPAC Hungary, which was held for the first time in Europe, in May this year , in Bálna in Budapest, where, among other things, he explained the 12-point recipe for the success of the right that can be applied worldwide.
