Time Out magazine also published its list ranking the world's best cities in 2022, and unfortunately Budapest did not make it - even though it was in 29th place last year - says Fidesz Budapest's statement.

"An important aspect of this year's ranking was that it was not only good to visit the given city, but also good to live there. Let's remember that in 2019, EBD chose Budapest as the best destination in Europe, Lonely Planet as the second best place in the world, and our capital was also awarded the title of Sports Capital of Europe.

Why do you think Budapest was not included in the list of the most livable cities this year? Because of the unacceptable traffic chaos? Because of the trashy, neglected public spaces? Is it the deteriorating public safety? Or the declining quality of public services?

Whatever the reason, this is a clear message Gergely Karácsony 's city management: Budapest is not on the right track! Instead of brainstorming and fake measures, it would be time to find real solutions to the real problems of the people of Budapest!"

2022plus: Considering that neither Karácsony nor his "auxiliary forces" (or rather his managers, the left-liberal city administration) can ever be blamed for anything, they do everything right, who can be guilty? It is not clear? Only Fidesz and Viktor Orbán. The prime minister and his government are "bleeding out" the capital, so that they barely manage to pay for the 40 advisers, the support of the many deputy mayors and Imre Mártha's luxury home office vacations. But that poor Kata Tüttő was also almost stranded in the sea, if she didn't have a horse at hand, it could have been a big problem.

Meanwhile, Budapest is indeed developing. Just back. However, the Karácsonys did everything to improve. In the spirit of a greener Budapest, wonderful bee pastures have been created, where the bees do not graze, but it is green! They also did a lot for a clean Budapest, many garbage collectors in public areas were dismantled. It can be seen!

In order to implement the principle of a livable capital, the homeless and drug addicts were allowed back into public spaces, because they are extremely socially sensitive. And of course, this is also frugality, it is cheaper than the homeless care system to let them do what they want. And wherever they want. And when we think of drug addicts - we don't think of them. It's easier than taking action against them. Where would the world be if they did?

The people of Budapest received many, many bicycle lanes as a gift, on which they hardly cycle, but at least they managed to make driving impossible. Which is very European , since the EU leaders also recommend driving more slowly on the roads, which also harms the Russians and saves fuel. Here it is, you can't even drive fast in Budapest. A complete success! And then comes the closing of the wharf, making the Chain Bridge car-free - it will be even better!

It is simply incomprehensible why the capital of Hungary was removed from the list after this. It would belong in the front row, wouldn't it? So only one explanation can be interpreted: Viktor Orbán is to blame. He must have looked down on those who make the list. Yes, that's all it can be.

I quote my former teacher's favorite saying: Or if not, then it's a rabbit.
