The national average concentration of the coronavirus in wastewater continues to rise, the National Center for Public Health (NNK) announced on its website on Wednesday.
In the 28th week, an increase can be observed in the majority of the examined sampling sites - 17 out of 22 sampling sites.
At five sampling points, the concentration of the genetic material of the coronavirus stagnates in the wastewater, a decrease is not observed in any of the investigated cities.
The concentration of the viral genetic material in four sampling locations - Békéscsaba, Pécs, Tatabánya and the Budapest agglomeration - is elevated, while in 18 sampling locations it falls into the moderate category, they wrote.
