As Mandiner reported on Tuesday evening, Adataradar found out: László Nemes, deputy mayor of Pesterzsébet DK (pictured), presumably used the taxi card he received from the municipality for family purposes. Gabriella Buc-Horváth, the local government representative of the district, told Mandiner that the Gyurcsányist deputy mayor manages his position in Pesterzsébet as a family business, and Fidesz will file a complaint regarding the current scandal later this week.

László Nemes is entitled to use his municipal taxi card to travel and handle work matters, but according to the information published , the family of the deputy mayor of Pesterzsébet also took advantage of the opportunity .

The XX. the district politician ordered a taxi a total of thirty-three times and spent HUF 135,730, but his wife, who also works as a district municipal representative, also traveled with his card, and his daughter, Dóra N. , also used the DK politician's card. The daughter of László Nemes has taxied away more than half a million forints since the 2019 elections.

"My first thought was that they are running a Família Kft.," Gabriella Buc-Horváth responded to the newspaper's inquiry .

According to the politician, it is clear that the DK politician and his family misused public money , therefore they are calling on the married couple integrated into the municipality to resign, they are demanding that Nemes resign from the position of deputy mayor as well as the municipal representative, and that Mrs. Judit Németh also leave .

Mr. Nemes defends himself by repaying the amount spent on the taxi ride to the municipality, saying that he does not want to investigate exactly who, when, and what he used his card for, reported Buc-Horváth. The ruling party representative sees the argument that only family members always ordered the taxis for them as unviable, Nemes said in Hungarian, "this is nothing more than an admission".

Mandiner was informed by another source that oversees district affairs that Ákos Szabados ordered an internal investigation into the matter. The paper knows that the current case could be another nail in the coffin of the opposition coalition in Pesterzsébet, because it has been rumored for a long time that the coalition work is not working. There was an MSZP politician who left the faction in order to support the DK, i.e. the Gyurcsánys also started the Salamization of the MSZP here. The Democratic Coalition with LMP, Jobbik, Momentum and Párbeszéd currently forms the majority in the municipality.

Their joint work is hampered by the fact that, despite the extraordinary war situation the DK demands one more deputy mayor's place , they want the district leader to have three deputies instead of two, but according to Mandiner's information, the left-wing parties - among them the most openly the MSZP - oppose this.
