Hoffmann said that they give the same amount of beer for the same amount of sunflower oil, and so far 400 liters of oil have been exchanged. The portal wrote that if we only look at the prices, the pub's offer is considered good, since while a liter of beer costs about 7 euros in German restaurants, a liter of sunflower oil costs about 4.5 euros in stores - even if it is available.
They emphasized that since Ukraine and Russia account for about 80 percent of the global export of sunflower oil, there was a shortage of the product in many European countries due to the war.
