Prime Minister Viktor Orbán held his usual meeting this year on the eve of his speech in Tusnádfürdő with the heads of Hungarian organizations in the Carpathian Basin, Bertalan Havasi, Deputy State Secretary in charge of the Prime Minister's Press Office, informed MTI.
The meeting was attended by Kelemen Hunor , president of RMDSZ, Krisztián Forró , president of MKP, István Pásztor , president of VMSZ, Róbert Jankovics , president of HMDK, and Ferenc Horváth Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén János Nagy , head of the Prime Minister's Office, and Zsolt Németh , chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Parliament.
At the meeting, it was said that the protracted war in Ukraine seriously affects not only Hungary, but also the parts of the Hungarian nation beyond the border, and therefore continuous consultation is needed to prevent economic and social damage. The participants expressed their intention that, despite the crisis, they will preserve the achievements of Hungarian national politics in the past twelve years.
