As an argument, the initiator of the petition cites Johnson's global support, his clearly positive position on Ukraine, and his political, financial and legal education, all of which would benefit Ukraine. Currently, the initiative has collected only 81 supporter votes, it will be considered in case of 25,000.

According to the current constitution and laws of Ukraine, the appointment of the former British prime minister would be impossible.

Currently, the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine is held by Denis Smihal.
