At the invitation of the 15th Ferences Bicycle Pilgrimage (Ferbit) and the Csíki Brewery, a highly successful Christian light music afternoon was held as part of the concert series of the Forbidden Festival. Brother Csaba Böjte personally participated in the event in Csíkszentsimons, who presented and autographed his latest book on the spot. During the evening, both young and old could participate in two great concerts. The Árvácska ensemble was followed by a concert by the Eucharist band, supplemented by the Mező Mass.
It may come as a surprise that a Christian praise concert is held in the courtyard of a brewery. For most of us, perhaps the Gospel parallel to the story of the wedding in Cana, where at the word of Jesus the water turned into wine to the great joy of the wedding party, comes immediately to mind. However, the church aspect is also strengthened by the fact that the monks had a lot to do with the production of the refreshing juice in the past. That is why it is no coincidence that the abbot of Zirci personally represented the Zirci Abbey on the spot, presenting the rich selection of craft beers produced there.
So let's agree that Christianity has indeed come home to Csíkszentsimon, at the site of the Csíki Beer Manufaktúra and the Csíki Chips Factory! It was therefore right for a local band and a band from further afield to raise the name of Jesus Christ, or for those present to pray the Lord's Prayer together.
Among the concerts, the Árvácska ensemble was the first to begin. Since 1987, the Csibész Foundation has been supporting needy children, families, mothers, the elderly, and the fallen in Csiksomlyo and its surroundings. These children and young people come from very difficult circumstances, everyone has a different story, but their fate is similar. In this new environment, in this small community, they find home, warmth, and love.
Their music draws from this received love and gives the audience a love that already has a divine scale. Young and old glorified God on stage with the greatest professionalism. Their beaming eyes and crystal-clear voices truly lured heaven down to the brewery yard.
The Eucharist ensemble is the Ez az day! after his huge event, he immediately got on the bus to accept the invitation of the Székely brothers. Upon their arrival, they also waited for the Sunday mass to begin. The members of the band performing the liturgical music service stepped out of the bus and immediately hit the strings to celebrate Jesus together. At the end of the mass, Jenő Sillye's song "Szállj, dalom" was also played, which was sung together by almost everyone present.
After the Árvácska band's concert, Eucharist shared with the audience its older and newer songs, many of which were composed by Mező Misivel, who thanked András Gável and Gável Geller for their 25 years of authorship this year. Anyone who could was involved in the dynamic glorification. In the evening, the leader of the Franciscan Bicycle Pilgrimage, Franciscan Brother Bonaventúra, put on the crown with the priest's blessing.
