Statements according to which fuel may run out can cause panic - this is what the analyst speaking to M1 spoke about after a discussion at the RTL Club about the fact that it will not be possible to refuel at Lake Balaton. At the beginning of the main season, the same channel talked about stagnation at Lake Balaton

- was announced on the M1 news channel.

They talked about the lack of fuel in the morning program of RTL Klub - the website of Blikk quoted what was said on commercial TV. It was also claimed in the program that it will be very difficult to refuel around Lake Balaton in the coming weeks. Based on the conversation on RTL, Index put it bluntly: at Balaton, for example, it is almost certain that it will not be possible to refuel in the coming period.

What is said on commercial TV can cause vacationers to panic and rush the wells, which are already in a difficult situation.

"The entire European Union market is characterized by a tense situation, in which temporary supply difficulties may arise from time to time, but panic buying and panic-mongering can make this already tense situation significantly more difficult and aggravated"

said Olivér Hortay, head of the energy and climate policy business at Századvég Konjunktúrakutató Zrt..

The expert pointed out that it is a challenge for governments across Europe to guarantee security of supply. Panicking only makes it worse.

"The measures taken in recent weeks show a more cautious and gradual effort, in which the Hungarian government continues to protect individuals and Hungarian households from having to face serious existential problems, and also tries to maintain security of care"

- He told.

The leaders of the national oil company have already asked motorists not to panic buy, not to refuel more than they should, because this will only further strengthen the supply difficulties.

RTL does not only create atmosphere in relation to Lake Balaton in the matter of fuel. They recently said that they think Lake Balaton is stagnant and that there are plenty of free accommodation - Magyar Nemzet wrote about this. Now they are talking about the difficulties of refueling the holiday homes. The question seems logical: if there are few vacationers, then who has difficulty refueling? By the way, anyone who regularly travels on the M7 will encounter continuous queues of cars not only on weekends, but also during the week.
