Nancy Pelosi also managed to anger North Korea by visiting the demilitarized zone.

After stirring up the standing water around Taiwan, US Speaker Nancy Pelosi continued her Asian tour in South Korea. The democratic politician recently visited the demilitarized zone on the border between the two Koreas, which, like his visit to Taiwan, only increased the tension in the region even more. Pelosi held talks with South Korean Speaker Kim Jin-pyo before the visit. The two officials called for strong and comprehensive deterrence against North Korea.

At the same time, it is worth highlighting that the conservative South Korean President Jun Seog-yol refused to interrupt his vacation due to the visit of the American Democrat Pelosi, and despite the fact that both were in the country's capital, the two politicians only discussed by phone.

North Korea also reacted violently to the visit to South Korea, North Korean foreign affairs official Jo Jong Sam pointed out: the visit of the American speaker exposes the hostile intent of the Washington government towards North Korea.

"The US is just adding fuel to the fire"

he added in his statement.

Joe warned that "the United States will pay dearly for all the trouble" Pelosi has caused. The official called Pelosi a destroyer of international peace and security for her visit to Taiwan, which angered Beijing.

After South Korea, Nancy Pelosi will also visit Japan, where there are also many sensitive issues, several of which also affect China and Russia.

Meanwhile, the multi-day sharp military exercise around Taiwan, with which China has practically blockaded the island, continues, according to experts, this type of movement may even become routine if Taipei continues to provoke Beijing. This would have unforeseeable consequences for the world economy.
