To dream, to go for it, to see it through, to bring it home and to make use of it - summed up the essence of the Stipendium Peregrinum program by the President of the Republic, Katalin Novák, who presented the diplomas to the students who won the scholarships on Friday at the Sándor Palace in Budapest.

Katalin Novák reminded us that as president of the republic, she defined five objectives, one of which is to embrace young talents. He wants to continue this, so the Stipendium Peregrinum will become a presidential program in the future, he emphasized.

Katalin Novák called the Stipendium Peregrinum program a scholarship for young people who open doors, and emphasized that although Hungary is not rich in natural resources, it is in human resources, and this includes talented youth.

He called the Stipendium a unique program in the world, a support that covers the costs of talented students studying at the best universities in the world.

Katalin Novák announced that the Stipendium will appear in the budget, but at the same time emphasized:

"I am convinced that the budget support allocated to Stip is not a budget expenditure, but an investment. An investment in the Hungarian future, which I believe will pay off very well, but that depends only on you".
