Balázs Orbán, the prime minister's political director, recently published a post and a video in which he reported on the negotiations with the European Commission and why the government decided to buy Vodafone.
"We have been through a month of intensive negotiations with the European Commission on the issue of conditionality. In our response letter, we informed the Commission: we support all strictures that help the use of funds to be clear, so the agreement will not depend on us. We hope that this matter will be concluded soon, and that the restoration fund and the budget plan can be signed," says Balázs Orbán's post.
