Foreign funds provide more than half of Partizán's financial background, of which the American organization The National Endowment for Democracy gave the popular left-wing internet channel "more money" just before the elections, the founder Márton Gulyás admitted. In the meantime, the foundation that operates Partizán has received serious awards in two foreign tenders in recent weeks, reports Magyar Nemzet .

Not only the movement of Péter Márki-Zay, but also one of the flagships of the left-wing media, the Partisan of Márton Gulyás, received American support - the person concerned himself spoke about this in a video interview with Telex the other day.

According to Gulyás, more than half of the financial background of their operation is provided by "big donors, big tenders". He said: these are foreign funds, one of them is a Swedish foundation, and "there was a larger amount" from the American organization The National Endowment for Democracy, which "provided this amount to the Partisan even before the elections."

In the meantime, the non-profit organization that operates Partizán (Partizán Network Critical System Content Development Foundation) has received awards in two highly prestigious, invitation-only tenders in recent weeks - read on Partizán's official Facebook page . According to this, they were awarded 15,000 US dollars in the invitational application of the "German Marshall Fund", and 200,000 euros in the invitational application of "The Foundation for Democracy and Pluralism". As written: the former will be used for the purchase of equipment, the latter for the design of the new studio, and for the renovation of their new production/editorial office, which is currently being renovated/made habitable.

It is well-known: Péter Márki-Zay, the common candidate for Prime Minister who suffered a serious defeat, recently admitted that in June, i.e. long after the parliamentary elections, the Meninki Magyarországa Mozgalom (MMM), which he founded, received hundreds of millions of dollars in support from the United States. with the help of this they were able to pay "the last bills of the campaign".

He also announced that the support came in a lump sum from the American foundation Action for Democracy, from which they had already received "three or four larger items" before. In the meantime, Péter Márki-Zay made public his movement's full account of the donations received. Although it is not clear from whom exactly the sometimes astonishing sums came from, one thing is certain: eight "macro-donations" worth a total of HUF 1.86 billion swelled MMM's account.

All of this is worrisome because the Hungarian party financing law expressly prohibits the support of domestic political parties from foreign sources.
