In his sermon at the thanksgiving service in Nyárádmagyarós, Bishop Béla Kató pointed out that in the past centuries the villagers knew that they could only attract intellectuals to their service if they offered them something nicer and better than their houses and living conditions.

The bishop added: that is why, when you walk through a settlement, the parish, the teacher's apartment, the clerk's apartment stand out among the buildings. He believed that even today it is important for the pastor and his family to feel good in the parish, this helps them to stay in the settlement. He noted: In Nyárádmagyarós, they realized that a new building was needed to free up another one for community purposes.

In his speech, State Secretary Miklós Soltész recommended the novel Camp of the Saints by Jean Raspail, quoted by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán He mentioned that today the Western world is experiencing what the French writer foresaw in 1972 with his amazing visionary ability. However, he believed that it is possible to learn from the bad. Central Europe can avoid the fate of the West if it preserves its national communities.

The local Reformed community turned the old parish into a church home. The construction of the new parish was supported by the Hungarian state with HUF 30 million.
