In honor of the Day of the Hungarian Flag and Coat of Arms, the 1,848-meter-long Flag of the Nation will be carried along Andrássy út. The next parade will take place on September 18, for which the organizers are expecting 1,848 participants.
"We are looking for the 1,848 people who will carry the 1,848-meter-long flag along Andrássy út," reads the website announcing the program. Civil organizations, schools, associations, families, municipalities, scout groups, church, foreign and Hungarian communities, as well as Hungarian communities across the border and scattered around the world, are also expected to participate in the event.
The participants will gather in front of the Opera at 11 a.m. on Sunday, and then the march will start at Hősök tere at 12 p.m.

Prior registration is required to participate in the event. Zsolt Jeszenszky will also join the parade this year, who shared a short video about the expected program on his Facebook page.
